Dev Agent wraps a web-based AI development service inside IntelliJ so tasks can be submitted and monitored from the IDE instead of a browser tab. Tasks run in parallel, the assistant modifies code against stated requirements, and a knowledge base feeds project-specific context into later requests. The IDE surface shows progress and lets the developer request modifications mid-task.
