DD Code GUI embeds a unified AI assistant panel in JetBrains IDEs and routes work to whichever backend is configured: Anthropic's Claude Agent SDK, OpenAI's Codex SDK, or DeepSeek and other Anthropic-compatible APIs. Around that core it adds dual-engine streaming chat with slash commands, a multi-agent mode, smart code completion, AI-generated commit messages, a built-in terminal, and MCP server integration via 22 prebuilt templates, plus a skill system and bilingual theming.
