AskCodi
About
AskCodi pivoted from an IDE-extension assistant into a desktop agentic product where a single conversation drives the whole delivery loop. Describing an outcome produces a project map, a task board, and a set of specialist engineers (backend, frontend, QA, security) that work simultaneously in isolated git worktrees; Codi manages dependencies, handoffs, and merges while the user stays in one conversation. Approvals and questions surface as decision cards in an inbox, so humans intervene only when a decision needs them. Code stays local, and the model layer plugs into existing Claude or OpenAI subscriptions rather than requiring separate API billing. It targets individual developers and small teams who want parallel specialist delivery without managing multiple agent sessions.
